Nikhil K. Bhayani, MD, FIDSA, is an infectious disease specialist who diagnoses and treats patients at DFW Infectious Diseases, PLLC, his private practice located in Bedford, Texas. Furthermore, he has staff memberships at several local hospitals, including Texas Health Harris Methodist Hurst-Euless-Bedford, and is Chair of the Department of Adult Medicine at Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital in Arlington, Texas, a role he embraced in 2014. Dr. Bressler is an infectious disease specialist and partner with Infectious Disease Specialists of Atlanta located in Decatur, GA. He is board-certified in internal medicine with a subspecialty in infectious disease, and a member of the American Society for Microbiology, American College of Physicians-American Society of Internal Medicine, Infectious Disease Society of America, and the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Bressler received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan before earning his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia as valedictorian. His postgraduate training continued as an intern and resident at Duke University Medical Center in Internal Medicine-Pediatrics, and fellowship at Emory University in Medical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases. Dr. Bressler served as the principal investigator and sub-investigator of various clinical trials covering Clostridium difficile, ARLG Network, antibacterials, diagnostics, influenza/RSV, sepsis, Hepatitis C, HIV, pneumonia, and wound care. He has also authored and co-authored textbook chapters and 13 peer review articles.
Dr. Bulbin is a board-certified infectious disease physician having more than 33 years of experience. He is the Director of Infectious Diseases, Chief Infection Control Officer, and Director of Antimicrobial Stewardship at St Francis Hospital. He is also the Catholic Health Systems Chairman for Antimicrobial Stewardship Committee, an instructor for the New York State Mandated Course in Infection Control, and sits on the Region Care Home Infusion Medical Advisory Board. Dr. Bulbin is a member of the Infectious Disease Society of America, American College of Physicians, American Medical Association, The Infectious Disease Society of New York, Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America, and the American Academy of HIV Medicine. As an undergrad at Tulane University, he studied biology before continuing his education at the University of South Florida College of Medicine. His internship, residency, and fellowship was completed at New York University- VA Medical Center. Dr. Bulbin is the author and co-author of four publications.
Dr. Delaportas is a board-certified Infectious Disease Specialist and Internist practicing in northeast West Virginia. He received his undergraduate degree from Boston University before attending the University of Athens in Greece to pursue his medical degree. Dr. Delaportas completed his postgraduate training in 1983, and now has over 43 years of experience. He has clinical trial and investigator experience in topics covering asthma, COPD, IBS, meningitis, skin infections, and women's health. In addition, Dr. Delaportas is a member of the MAD-ID, Infectious Disease Society of America, American Society for Microbiology, and a fellow of the American College of Physicians.
Dr. Desai is board-certified physician in infectious diseases and would care. Dr. Desai attended Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN and then completed his medical training at the New York Medical College in New York. He went on to become the Associate Program Director in the Division of Infectious Disease at Texas Tech University and played an integral role in developing the Infectious Disease Fellowship training program. There, he trained doctors to become an Infectious Disease specialist and was involved in cutting edge research, such as Dysphagia in HIV. Furthermore, Dr. Desai has published articles in prestigious journals such as the American Journal of Medical Sciences and Infectious Diseases in Clinical Practice. Locally, he continues to give lectures and educate new students & pharmacists in the community; as well as, conduct clinical trials for the latest cutting edge antimicrobial medications. His clinical interests include Antibiotic IV Infusion Therapy, MRSA Infections, Multi-Drug Resistant Organisms, and Travel Medicine.
Dr. Dezfuli is board-certified in infectious disease and is an osteopathic infection disease specialist. Dr. Dezfuli served his residency at Los Angeles County Hospital and University of Southern California Medical Center, where he also completed a fellowship in infectious disease. As Director of the Infectious Disease, Director of Infusion Center, Director of the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program, Director of Infection Prevention & Control Committee at Eisenhower Medical Center in Rancho Mirage, CA, he has a strong interest in adoption and implementation of policies that incorporate multidisciplinary, team-based approaches to reducing antibiotic resistance through antimicrobial stewardship, and infection prevention control. He is a member of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons of California, the American Osteopathic Association, the American Academy of General Physicians and the American College of Physicians.
Dr. Dold is a partner of seven physician infectious diseases private practice treating inpatient and outpatient therapy, including operating IV infusion center. He earned his medical degree from Lake Erie College. Dr. Dold completed his Internal Medicine Residency at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey School of Osteopathic Medicine. A fellowship in Infectious Disease was attained from University of Mississippi Medical Center. He is a member of the Infectious Diseases Society of America and American Osteopathic Association.
Dr. Hassoun is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine. He is a board-certified Infectious Disease and HIV Specialist at Alabama Infectious Diseases Center in Huntsville, AL. Affiliate Faculty at University of Alabama School of Nursing, and Clinical Faculty at Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine and Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Hassoun is on staff at Huntsville Hospital, Crestwood Medical Center, Health South Rehabilitation Hospital/Encompass Health, and Madison Hospital. A veteran researcher, his interests include Clostridium difficile, MRSA, molecular diagnostics, and COVID-19. Dr. Thuan Le, MD is an infectious disease internist in Murrieta, CA and has over 25 years of experience in the medical field. He graduated from University of California at Berkeley in 1995. He is affiliated with medical facilities El Centro Regional Medical Center and Loma Linda University Medical Center-Murrieta.
Dr. Jacobs earned his medical degree from Yale School of Medicine in New Haven, Connecticut, after growing up in Houston. He completed his urologic residency at the Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington, Massachusetts, and fellowship training in pediatric urology at Seattle Children’s Hospital in Seattle, Washington. He also earned a master’s degree in Public Health while at the University of Washington. Dr. Jacobs joined the urology team at Children’s Health in 2011 and is an Associate Professor at UT Southwestern. He is board-certified in Urology and is an Assistant Professor and the Director of the Pediatric Urology Fellowship Program at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. His interests include congenital urologic abnormalities, Spina Bifida, minimally invasive surgery, complex urologic reconstruction and hypospadias. Dr. Jacobs teaches for the American Board of Urology review course and is active in the American Urological Association’s academic activities. Dr. Jacobs co-directs the Adolescent to Adult Transition program in Urology, focusing on spina bifida patients as they move into adulthood. He has written multiple research papers on the long-term outcomes of children with neurogenic bladder dysfunction who have undergone surgical reconstruction, as well as clinical outcomes of various surgical techniques in pediatric urology. Dr. Jacobs sees patients at Children’s Medical Center Dallas and Children’s Medical Center Plano, as well as at the Children’s Health Specialty Center Rockwall. Dr. Jacobs conducts a clinic for children with spina bifida at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital.
Dr. Metzger is the Director of Infectious Diseases for a number of hospitals around Austin, TX. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Miami before attending Emory University and the Medical College of Georgia to complete his studies. His postgraduate training as an intern and resident took place at Mount Sinai School of Medicine and Albert Einstein College of Medicine. As a board-certified physician, he was awarded "Outstanding Physician Award" from St. David's Medical Center (2010) and Castle Connolly's "Top Doctor, Infectious Disease" (2017, 2018, 2019). Dr. Metzger is co-author of three publications and presented numerous conference presentations focused on outpatient therapy and treatment, osteomyelitis, and HIV.
Dr. Reilly is a clinical pharmacists specialist for infectious disease and critical care at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center where he is Chair of the Antimicrobial Management Team, Co-Chair of the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program, and Director of the Pharmacy Residency Program. Dr. Reilly is a member of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, American College of Clinical Pharmacy, New Jersey Society of Health-System Pharmacists, and Infectious Disease Society of America. He serves as journal editor and reviewer for multiple medical and pharmacy journals. He has numerous publications in medical and pharmacy journals as well as research posters presented nationally. His areas of focus are infectious disease, pharmacokinetics, and gastroenterology. He is board-certified in geriatric pharmacotherapy.
Dr. Young is an infectious disease physician affiliated with St. Mary Medical Center in Hobart, IN, Community Hospital in Munster, IN, and St. Catherine Hospital in East Chicago, IN.
